DFM gains 2% on Sunday
The market cap value increased by AED 1.75 billion

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.91% or 17.36 points to close Sunday's trading session at 1,911.83 points, unlike the downward performance on Thursday, 14 May.

The market cap value increased by AED 1.75 billion to AED 280.66 billion, compared to AED 278.91 billion.

Around 256.89 million shares were traded through 3,738 transactions valued at AED 198.29 million.

The investment and financial services sector topped the risers with 5.80%, while the consumer staples segment led the decliners with 0.68%.

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) headed 16 rising stock with 14.93%, while Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) came on top of eight losing stocks with 5%.

Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 62.68 million shares, while Amanat Holdings recorded the highest turnover of AED 37.53 million.

Dubai Investments led the rising blue chips with 3.64%, while DXB Entertainments hit the top of the losing blue chips with 0.74%.
