Tadawul up 1.6% at Sunday’s close
Many blue-chip stocks closed today's session in the green zone

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) saw positive performance on Sunday as the main index gained 1.6% or 107.72 points and closed at 6,824.70 points.

Traded volumes amounted to 198.54 million shares, with a turnover of about SAR 4 billion, through nearly 177,000 transactions.

Alasmak topped the rising stocks, surging by 10%, while Alandalus Property led the falling stocks and lost 6.81%.

Dar Alarkan was the most actively traded stock with 25.32 million shares, while AlRajhi logged the highest traded value with SAR 317.4 million.

The transportation sector rose by 3.66%, materials and energy gained 1.86% and 1.74%, while banks and telecom increased by 1.25% and 1.2%, respectively.

Many of the market blue-chip stocks closed in the green zone, as Al Rajhi went up by 2.04%, while Aramco, SABIC ascended by 1.75% and 2.5%, respectively, and NCB closed up by 2.78%.

In the Parallel Market, the NomuC index surged by 1.32% and closed at 7,185.78 points.
