Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 0.59% or 11.35 points to end Tuesday's trading session at 1,931.18 points, maintaining its upward performance on Monday.
The market cap value rose by AED 1.31 billion to AED 283.13 billion, compared to AED 281.82 billion during the previous session.
Around 187.32 million shares were traded through 3,877 transactions at a total value of AED 225.10 million.
The services sector topped the gainers with 1.08%, while the consumer staples led the decliners with 1.38%.
Gulf Navigation Holding headed 12 rising stocks with 2.80%, while Ekttitab Holding came on top of 11 losing stocks with 4.63%.
Union Properties posted the highest trading volume of 43.43 million shares, while Emirates NBD, up 1.60%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 67.97 million.
