EETC targets EGP 150bn revenue by June 2021
Costs and expenses are planned to stand at EGP 147 billion

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) aims to generate EGP 150 billion in revenue by the end of June 2021, EETC’s chairman Sabah Mashaly said.

Revenues are expected to reach EGP 141 billion at the end of June 2020, compared to EGP 137 billion at the end of the same month a year earlier, Mashaly added in a statement released by the Ministry of Electricity on Tuesday.

Costs and expenses are planned to stand at EGP 147 billion by end 2021, compared to an estimated EGP 138 billion by the end of June 2020 and an actual EGP 136 billion at the end of the same month in 2019.

In addition, EETC is looking to carry out its investment plan valued at EGP 112 billion, in addition to EGP 20 billion being invested in state-funded strategic power project.
