ADX closes Thursday's trading session in red
Turnover totalled AED 152.34 million

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday's trading session on a negative note after losing 17.94 points or 0.43% to 4,112.90 points, unlike its positive performance on Wednesday.

The market cap decreased by AED 1.66 billion to AED 460.36 billion, compared to AED 462.02 billion during the previous session.

Turnover totalled AED 152.34 million after nearly 57.51 million shares had been traded through 1,612 transactions.

The banks sector led the decliners with 0.58%, while the energy segment topped the risers with 0.01%.

Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) came on top of the red zone with 4.96%, while Ras Al Khaimah National Insurance Company (RAK Insurance) headed the green zone with 14.74%.

Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat), down 0.39%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 30.22 million, while Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) posted the highest trading volume of 11.80 million shares.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) led the rising blue chips with 0.36%.
