Mubasher: Kuwait on Thursday reported 1,041 new infections of the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total count to 18,609 cases, according to the country's health authorities.

Total recoveries have increased by 320 in the past 24 hours to stand at 5,205, while the fatalities grew by five, taking the death toll to 129.

According to the latest figures, a total of 181 patients are in intensive care, while those currently receiving treatment at hospitals are 13,275 patients.
