Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Wednesday’s trading session on a positive note in its first session after the three-day Eid Al Fitr holiday.
The general index rose by 0.51% or 20.86 points to end at 4,133.76 points in tandem with the country’s economic reopening.
The market cap gained AED 2.53 billion to AED 462.9 billion on Wednesday, compared to AED 460.37 billion in the previous session.
Turnover amounted to AED 185.28 million after around 57.83 million shares were traded through about 2,650 transactions.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), and Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) advanced by 3.34%, 2.94%, and 1.97%, respectively.
