EEHC eyes EGP 32.4bn investments in FY20/21
EETC aims to add 145 MW to the national grid

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) is looking to inject EGP 32.4 billion worth of investments during fiscal year 2020/2021, the company’s chairman Gaber Desouky said.

In addition, EETC aims to add 145 megawatts (MW) to the national grid, raising the nominal capacity to 59,824 MW, up by 0.24% from FY19/20, Desouky added in a statement on Sunday.

The state-owned electricity firm also plans to increase the generated energy to 198.147 billion kilowatt-hour (kWh), up by 2.03% from that expected in FY19/20, he pointed out.
