ADX loses 89 pts in May
The real estate sector hit the top of the decliners

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed May's trading on in red at 4,141.61 points, losing 2.09% or 88.76 points compared to its level by the end of April at 4,230.37 points.

The real estate sector hit the top of the decliners with 4.25% or 118.29 points, while the telecommunications segment led the risers with 3.42% or 128.83 points.

The market cap value dropped by AED 3.97 billion to AED 465.91 billion in the last trading session in May, compared to AED 469.88 billion in April.

Dana Gas led the red zone with 16% in May, followed by Aldar Properties with 4.95% and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) with 3.95%.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) headed the green zone with 2.85%.
