Riyadh – Mubasher: After the five-day break for Eid Al Fitr holiday, the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday’s trading session on big gains, as the main index restored the 7,200-point level.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up by 2.30% or 162.37 points and closed at 7,213.03 points.

Traded volumes amounted to 307.44 million shares, with a turnover of SAR 6.51 billion through 163,370 transactions.

MedGuld led the rising stocks and surged by 9.96%, while ACIG topped the losers and dropped by 4.60%.

Dar Al Arkan had the highest traded volume with 40.1 million shares.

On the other hand, Al Rajhi had the highest traded value with SAR 743 million.

As for the sectors’ performance, the banks' index gained 3.47%, while materials and telecom increased by 2.86% and 0.51%, respectively, while the energy sector added 0.12%.
