UAE – Mubasher: The assets of banks operating in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have reached around AED 2.897 trillion in April, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

This figure represented 92% of the UAE banking sector's assets, which recorded nearly AED 3.156 trillion, as shown by the UAE Central Bank's (CBUAE) latest data.

Banks in Abu Dhabi and Dubai registered assets of AED 1.407 trillion and AED 1.489 trillion, respectively.

Meanwhile, the cumulative balance of deposits of Dubai's banks amounted to AED 869.8 billion in April, compared to AED 874.9 billion in March.

As for Abu Dhabi's banks, the cumulative balance of deposits increased to AED 837.5 billion in April from AED 808.1 billion in March.
