ADX up on Tuesday; market cap gains AED 10.23bn
The telecommunications sector led the gainers

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended Tuesday's trading session on green zone after gaining 2.56% or 106.67 points to 4277.38 points, keeping its upward performance for the third consecutive session.

The market cap value jumped by AED 10.23 billion to AED 480.88 billion, compared to AED 470.65 billion during the previous session.

A total of 40.42 million shares were traded through 2,291 transactions at a total value of AED 227.81 million.

The telecommunications sector led the gainers with 4.91%, while the real estate segment came on top of the losers with 0.02%.

Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) topped the green zone with 14.41%, while Gulf Cement Company headed the red zone with 5%.

Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) posted the highest turnover of AED 91.89 million, while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB), up 5.05%, was the most active stock with 8.75 million shares.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) hit the top of the losing blue chips with 0.68%.
