Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s in decline, for the second consecutive session, as the main index lost 0.86% or 62.82 points and closed at 7,222.41 points.
A total of 286.85 million shares were traded through 269,600 transactions at SAR 5.77 billion.
GACO led the rising stocks and gained 8.44%, while Saudi Fisheries topped the decliners and fell by 4.89%.
Dar Alarkan led the trading activity with the highest turnover of SAR 637.22 million and the biggest volume of 49.5 million traded shares.
The utilities sector led the red chards, losing 3.98%, followed by media and entertainment with 2.47%.
Meanwhile, materials and banks decreased by 1.26% and 0.87%, respectively, while the telecom index retreated by 0.73%.
On the contrary, the software index registered the highest gain of 3.26%, while the energy sector gained 0.16%.
