Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait showed a mixed performance on Thursday, as the Premier market index lost 1.89%, and the all-share and BK Main 50 indices declined by 1.35% and 0.35%, respectively, while the main market index added 0.09%.
Today, Boursa Kuwait opened at the levels of Tuesday’s close after the Capital Market Authority (CMA) decided to cancel Wednesday’s session.
Traded values decreased by 3.1% to KWD 38 million, while traded volumes shrank by 21.8% to 189.4 million shares.
Six market sectors closed in the red zone, led by the banks sector that fell by 2.71%.
Al Massaleh was the bigged losing stock with 14.07%, while Kuwait Syrian Holding led the rising stocks and surged by 45.3%.
KFH registered the highest turnover with KWD 10.62 million, while AUB was the most actively traded stock with 17.42 million shares.
