Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session on a positive note, as the premiere market and all share indices added 1.16% and 0.93%, while the main market and BK 50 indices increased by 0.33% and 0.36%, respectively.

Daily turnover shrank by 37.8% compared to its level on Sunday to KWD 27.09 million, while traded volumes decreased by 37.7% to 123.77 million shares.

Seven sectoral indices ended the session in the green zone, as the banks sector added 1.2%, while the industrial and telecom indices gained 1% and 0.88%, respectively.

On the other hand, three sectors registered losses, led by consumer services with 0.74%.

KFH led today’s activity in terms of traded value and volume with 10.57 million shares being exchanged through 857 transactions for KWD 6.25 million.
