Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Chemical and Fertilizers Export Council is looking to increase its exports in the coming period by entering 18 new African markets, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Wednesday, citing the council’s chairman Khaled Abul Makarem as saying.

The new markets to be targeted are Kenya, Sudan, Zambia, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania, Angola, Gabon, Senegal, Cameron, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, South Africa, Ethiopia, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, and Somalia, he added.

The African countries are a key market for the Egyptian exports, given its diverse segments as well as the 100% tariff relief imposed on trade among 13 African countries.
