Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) was ranked first among retail brands in a list by Forbes for the Middle East Top 100 Companies 2020.

Placed in the 52nd position overall, the company was among 21 Emirati companies that are included in the Forbes list, according to a press release on Monday.

The Forbes Middle East list selects the region's largest and most successful listed companies based on in-depth research from all stock exchanges in Arab countries and analysis of market value, sales, assets, and profits.

The GCC companies represent 90% of the total 100 companies selected this year, with Saudi Aramco named No.1 in the annual list.

The acting CEO of ADNOC Distribution, Ahmed Al Shamsi, said: "It is an honour to be recognized as the number one retail brand in the region, testament to the hard work we do every day to deliver convenient and accessible fuel and convenience retail to customers."
