Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated financial statements of Dice Sport and Casual Wear showed net losses of EGP 43.27 million in the first quarter of 2020, against net profits of EGP 31.06 million in the year-ago period.
Dice’s sales retreated to EGP 260.2 million in the three-month period ended on 31 March from EGP 338.4 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.
Previously, the apparel firm’s standalone financial results reported net losses of EGP 47.96 million in Q1-20, versus net profits of EGP 21.92 million in Q1-19.
It is worth mentioning that in 2019, Dice posted net profits of EGP 120.82 million, down from EGP 160.08 million in 2018.
