UAE - Mubasher: Majid Al Futtaim will open more of its leisure and entertainment centres and cinemas in the UAE starting 23 July, namely in Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah, according to a press release on Tuesday.

This announcement was made a few days after the company has reopened its entertainment venues in Saudi Arabia.

Majid Al Futtaim has taken all the precautionary and preventive measures to ensure the safety of guests amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, including sanitisation and social-distancing.

Meanwhile, cinemas will reduce its seating capacity to leave the places surrounding the guests' selected seat vacant to ensure physical distancing, in addition to allowing ticket online booking.

The CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Leisure and Entertainment, Cameron Mitchell, said: ​"Since we reopened last month, 93% of guests in Dubai have said they are satisfied or extremely satisfied with our enhanced measures and we will continue to ensure a best in class experience for our guests in Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah, with health, safety and customer satisfaction at the forefront."
