Emirates temporarily suspends flights from Pakistan
The temporary suspension will be effective starting Wednesday

UAE - Mubasher: Emirates airline has temporarily suspended its flights from Pakistan after detecting coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Hong Kong among passengers coming from Pakistan via Dubai, according to Reuters.

The spokesperson said that the temporary suspension will be effective starting Wednesday, confirming that the Dubai-based carrier will continue operating flights to Pakistan.

"We are coordinating closely with the various authorities and will review and implement any required additional measures to satisfy all parties before we resume services from Pakistan," the spokesperson said.

It is noteworthy to mention that starting 23 June, the UAE has allowed certain categories of citizens and residents to travel to specific destinations upon following some procedures to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
