ADX down on Thursday; market cap loses AED 5.2bn

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 1.02% to close Thursday's trading session at 4,285.59 points, reversing its upward performance on Wednesday, 24 June.

The market cap value declined by AED 5.2 billion to AED 485.75 billion, compared to AED 490.95 billion during the previous session.

Turnover amounted to AED 170.59 million after 43.06 million shares were traded through 1,111 transactions.

Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) led the red zone with 4.85%, while National Marine Dredging Co (NMDC) headed the green zone with 14.84%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 37.42 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 7.56 million shares.

Dana Gas topped the losing blue chips with 2.42%, while Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) led the rising blue chips with 1.02%.
