UAE suspends passenger flights from Pakistan
This decision will be valid until a laboratory is established

Mubasher: The UAE has suspended all its passenger flights coming from Pakistan as of Monday due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, according to the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).

This decision will be valid until a laboratory is established to conduct COVID-19 tests for all passengers coming to the UAE.

Meanwhile, the UAE government announced that pre-departure COVID-19 tests will be mandatory for the return of foreign nationals with valid residence permits, effective 1 July.

Last week, Emirates temporarily suspended its flights from Pakistan after detecting coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Hong Kong among passengers coming from Pakistan via Dubai.
