DMCA lifts restrictions on Dubai's maritime activities
Dubai has completed the National Disinfection Programme

UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has lifted the timing restrictions on maritime activities following the return of Dubai's maritime sector to its normal state.

The emirate has completed the National Disinfection Programme to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and resume economic activities, including tourism, according to a press release on Monday.

To strengthen Dubai's position as a global leading maritime hub, the authority has taken necessary measures to manage maritime activities such as setting legislative frameworks to support Dubai's maritime sector.

Commenting on the decision to lift the restriction on maritime activities, the Executive Director of DMCA, Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, said: "This is an important step in facilitating the commercial activities in the emirate, especially that it now prepares to welcome a huge number of tourists from all over the world."
