ADX down on Wednesday; market cap gains AED 560m
The energy sector topped the losers

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged down by 0.02% to settle at 4,285.06 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session, unlike its upward performance on Tuesday, 30 June.

Turnover amounted to AED 91.66 million after 29.35 million shares were exchanged through 1,447 transactions.

The market cap value rose by AED 560 million to AED 484.97 billion, compared to AED 484.41 billion in the previous session.

The energy sector topped the losers with 0.53%, while the telecommunications segment led the winners with 0.73%.

Al Qudra Holding came on top of the red zone with 4.84%, while Eshraq Investments headed the green zone with 3.69%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) posted the highest turnover of AED 31.80 million, while Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 6.93 million shares.

Dana Gas topped the losing blue chips with 0.47%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) led the rising blue chips with 1.36%.
