The telecommunications sector led the decliners

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.18% or 7.80 points to settle at 4,303.92 points by the end of Sunday's trading session, reversing its upward performance on Thursday, 2 July.

Turnover amounted to AED 58.42 million after 180.91 million shares had been traded through 669 transactions.

However, the market cap value increased by AED 11 billion to AED 580.97 billion, compared to AED 569.97 billion during the previous session.

The telecommunications sector led the decliners with 1.31%, while the energy segment topped the risers with 2.80%.

Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Co came on top of the red zone with 4.89%, while Abu Dhabi National Energy (TAQA) headed the green zone with 14.95%.

TAQA recorded the highest trading volume of 145.92 million shares at a total value of AED 16.40 million.

Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) led the losing blue chips with 1.31%, while Dana Gas topped the rising blue chips with 1.57%.
