Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates SkyCargo will add new destinations to its network to operate cargo flights to 100 destinations across six continents in July, according to a press release on Sunday.
The new destinations include Accra, Algiers, Athens, Fort Lauderdale, Glasgow, Larnaca, Los Angeles, Male, Moscow, Phnom Penh, Rome, Santiago, Sialkot, and Tunis.
With the expansion, Emirates SkyCargo aims to be in line with the growing economic activities and increasing demand for air cargo capacity from different international markets and facilitate the transfer of good supplies and machines to combat coronavirus (COVID-19).
Besides its scheduled services, the air cargo carrier operates a number of charter flights every week to transfer goods, including Personal Protective Supplies (PPE), pharmaceuticals, food, and machines.
