Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian parliament approved a bill for earmarking an additional allocation of EGP 80 billion to the new budget for fiscal year 2019/2020, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Sunday.
The final decision on the draft law will be taken in a subsequent session, the parliament's speaker Ali Abdelaal said.
Earlier, the parament approved the state budget for FY20/21 at a value of EGP 2.2 trillion.
The state budget includes expenditures of EGP 1.7 trillion, up by EGP 138.6 billion from FY19/20.
