UAE - Mubasher: Dubai Startup Hub will hold the first Dubai Technology Tour, a virtual trade mission, in September to boost the cooperation between the UAE and India in the fields of fintech and health tech, according to a press release on Sunday.

Organised by Dubai Chamber in partnership with Startup India and Mumbai Fintech Hub, the mission will connect 15 Indian entrepreneurs with UAE stakeholders, such as investors, corporates, and peer scale-ups.

The tour will also focus on Dubai's economy, business environment, and advantages provided to startups and scale-ups specialising in advanced technologies, placing Dubai as a preferred hub for Indian innovative entrepreneurs.

This initiative is part of the efforts exerted by Dubai Startup Hub, the first initiative of its kinds in MENA, to attract high-potential Indian startups to Dubai to support its innovation strategy and shift to a knowledge-based economy.

In 2019, the Hub organised a roadshow to New Delhi and Bangalore in cooperation with Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (Dtec) to select two Indian startups to be awarded office space at Dtec.
