DFM down on Monday; market cap loses AED 1.74bn
The real estate sector led the losers

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) retreated by around 0.86% or 18.11 points to stand at 2,067.74 points by the end of Monday's trading session.

A total of 193.29 million shares were exchanged through 3,359 transactions worth AED 158.31 million.

The market cap value decreased by AED 1.74 billion to AED 294.03 billion, compared to approximately AED 295.77 billion.

The real estate sector led the losers with 1.76%, followed by the banks segment with 0.6%.

Dubai Refreshments headed the red zone with 4.98%, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) came on top of the green zone with 14.83%.

Emaar Properties topped the losing blue chips with nearly 2.20%.
