Egypt inks EGP 4.6bn deal to build 4 power control centres
The government is looking to build and develop 47 power control centres

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy signed an agreement with Schneider Electric to establish four power control centres over 18 months at a cost of EGP 4.6 billion.

The government is looking to build and develop 47 power control centres across all governorates at an estimated cost of EUR 2 billion, the electricity minister, Mohamed Shaker, said a statement on Tuesday.. 

The agreement is part of the first phase which includes establishing and developing 14 control centres.  

The four control centres will be located in Nasr City, New Cairo, Dokki, and 6th of October City.
