Riyadh – Mubasher: The National Water Company (NWC) announced on Tuesday the execution of 14 water and environmental projects in Riyadh city at a total cost of more than SAR 200 million.

The projects, which begin operations early next month, will serve over 43,000 people. The investments come within the company’s efforts to raise service coverage in tandem with the Kingdom Vision 2030, according to a press release.

These projects included the implementation of 178 kilometres long of water and wastewater pipelines, networks, and connections.

Furthermore, the NWC is speeding up to execute several of its infrastructure initiatives so as to keep pace with its performance indicators and ensure excellent delivery of projects at agreed-upon deadlines in attempts to upgrade the quality of services provided in realisation of the goals of the sector.
