Egypt arranges EGP 250m to upgrade water, wastewater plants in Aswan
The first phase of the plan has been implemented at a cost of EGP 44 million

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian prime minister Mostafa Madbouly approved the arrangement of EGP 250 million to resume the second phase of the water and wastewater network replacement and renovation plan in Aswan.

The government will allocate EGP 100 million from the state budget reserves and provide EGP 150 million after reprioritising the water and wastewater projects in Aswan, Madbouly added in a statement on Tuesday.  

The first phase of the plan has been implemented at a cost of EGP 44 million, the chairman of Aswan Water and Wastewater Company, Refaat Ismail, said.
