DFM ends Wednesday with marginal losses
Turnover amounted to AED 163.08 million

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched down 0.22% or 4.56 points to stand at 2,048.20 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session, maintaining its downward performance on Tuesday, 14 July.

Turnover amounted to AED 163.08 million after 178.70 million shares were traded through 3,255 transactions.

The market cap value reached AED 291.39 billion, down AED 43 million from AED 291.82 billion during the previous session.

The services sector headed the losers with 2.10%, followed by the real estate segment with 1.14%.

 Dubai Refreshments led the losing stocks with 4.92%, while Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) came on top of the rising stocks with 7.95%.

 Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) was the most active stock with 36.54 million shares, while Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 24.51 million.

Damac Properties topped the losing blue chips with 1.46%, while Arabtec Holding led the rising blue chips with 0.90%.
