Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 1.26% or 53.35 points to settle at 4,274.46 points by the end of Thursday's trading session, reversing its negative performance on Wednesday, 15 July.
The market cap value jumped by AED 4.62 billion to AED 595.30 billion, compared to AED 590.68 billion during the previous session.
Turnover amounted to AED 93.94 million after around 42.13 million shares had been exchanged through 1,634 transactions.
The banks sector came on top of the winners with 2.01%, while the real estate segment remained unchanged.
Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) headed the green zone with 8.49%, while Sharjah Insurance Co topped the red zone with 4.81%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) posted the highest turnover of AED 22.83 million, while Dana Gas, up 1.33%, recorded the highest trading volume of 10.26 million shares.
