EGX ends Sunday in red on foreign selloffs
The market cap value shrank by EGP 6.04 billion

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session on a negative note with its main EGX30 index sliding by 1.53% to 10,281 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 1.17% to 1,409 points, while the EGX100 EWI declined by 1.15% to 2,177 points.

Likewise, the EGX50 index went down by 0.93% to close at 1,727 points.

The market cap value shrank by EGP 6.04 billion to reach EGP 568.8 billion.

Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 9.7 million, while local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 1.39 million and EGP 8.3 million, respectively.

The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 733.2 million after 315.7 million shares were traded through around 31,300 transactions.
