TASI levels up 0.54% on Tuesday amid thin liquidity
The market’s turnover shrank to SAR 6.55 billion on Tuesday

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), the benchmark index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), closed higher by 0.54% or 39.90 points at Tuesday’s close to reach 7,417.26 points.

The National Company for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) was the top gainer with 9.98%, whereas the Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) led the decliners with 1.81%.

The telecommunication services instrument added 1.39%, whilst the materials, banks, and energy sectors levelled up by 0.74%, 0.18%, and 0.02%, respectively.

Moreover, the market’s liquidity declined to SAR 6.55 billion today when compared to SAR 8.36 billion on Monday. Meanwhile, the trading volume shrank to 328 million shares from 419 million while the number of concluded deals came in at 304,122, compared with 394,800.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development was the most activity traded stock through the exchange of 31 million shares, whilst the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) recorded the highest turnover of SAR 669.471 million.

As for the parallel market, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) rose by 7.67% to settle at 8,257.38 points.

The National Building and Marketing Company came on top of the winners with 12.22%, whereas no falling stocks were seen.
