Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Properties has cancelled all job titles at the company and in employees' business identification cards, which will include only their names and department, founder and Chairman of Emaar Mohamed Alabbar announced.

The company's work system and culture should be revised and shifted in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Alabbar noted in an internal email.

He further remarked that the challenges we face will be greater than ever; hence, the company will focus on each individual's talents rather than titles, confirming that this "simple" change will have a great impact in the future.

Alabbar concluded that abolishing job titles aims to enhance the company's performance, spot the light on development and growth, and help the company to invest in upgrading employees' skills and capabilities.
