Riyadh – Mubasher: The general reserve of Saudi Arabia contracted by 15.5% yearly or SAR 77.52 billion during June 2020, hitting SAR 420.08 billion when compared to SAR 497.6 billion in June of last year.
The Saudi current account shrank to SAR 70 billion by the end of last June, a decrease of 30% from SAR 99.93 billion in the same month in 2019, according to data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).
Monthly, the general reserve levelled up 0.11% when compared to its level in May at SAR 419.617 billion. In the meantime, the current account soared by 36%, compared with May’s level of SAR 51.56 billion.
