ADX maintains downward performance on Wednesday
The telecommunications sector led the decliners

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched down by 0.45% or 19.59 points to end Wednesday's trading session at 4,304.74 points, maintaining its downward performance on Tuesday, 28 July.

Turnover totalled AED 195.09 million after 123.36 million shares had been traded through 2,353 transactions.

However, the market cap value increased by AED 4.7 billion to AED 636.3 billion, compared to AED 631.6 billion during the previous session.

The telecommunications sector led the decliners with 1.54%, while the energy segment topped the risers with 1.10%.

 Sharjah Insurance Co. (SICO) came on top of the losing stocks with 4.72%, while Eshraq Investments headed the rising stocks with 7.26%.

International Holdings Company recorded the highest turnover of AED 38.60 million, while Manazel Holding posted the highest trading volume of 35.69 million shares.

Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) led the losing blue chips with 1.54%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) headed the rising blue chips with 1.09%.
