ADX maintains downward performance on Wednesday
The market cap value decreased by AED 5.76bn

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 0.28% or 12.08 points to settle at 4,305.92 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session, maintaining its downward performance on Tuesday, 4 August.

Turnover amounted to AED 131.91 million after 69.1 million shares had been traded through 1,657 transactions.

The market cap value decreased by about AED 5.76 billion to AED 637.69 billion, compared to AED 643.45 billion during the previous session.

The energy sector headed the decliners with 2.01%.

Eshraq Investments led the losing stocks with 4.94%, while International Holdings Company came on top of the rising stocks with 5.72%.

 International Holdings Company recorded the highest turnover of AED 23.38 million, while Manazel Holding posted the highest trading volume of 14.91 million shares.

Dana Gas hit the top of the losing blue chips with 1.39%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) led the rising blue chips with 0.81%.
