Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of foreign affairs Sameh Shoukry on Thursday signed a maritime demarcation agreement with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias to set up an exclusive economic zone.

The two ministers discussed the possible means to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in the region, according to state-run TV.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2013, Egypt signed a maritime demarcation agreement with Cyprus to develop oil and gas fields in the region.
