Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), the main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), closed Sunday higher by 0.40% or 30.34 points, backed by three gaining sectors.
The index settled at the level of 7,530.31 points and maintained its positive trajectory for the sixth consecutive session.
In the meantime, a total of 282.12 million shares were traded via 255,300 deals at SAR 5.5 billion.
Wataniya Insurance Company came on top of the winners with 9.98%, whereas Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance led the losers with 1.63%.
Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development was the most actively traded stock on all levels after exchanging 59.20 million shares at a turnover of SAR 440.603 million.
The materials and banks sectors added 0.51% and 0.43%, respectively, while energy gained 0.38%, supported by a 0.30% rise in Saudi Aramco’s stock after the company’s earnings release for the second quarter was disclosed.
The Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) increased by 0.77% or 62.46 points at 8,186.50 points.
Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Company closed up by 2.25%, followed by the National Building and Marketing Company and Development Works Food (DWF) Company with 0.97% and 0.86%, respectively.
