Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) signed a contract with Sinai Gas to deliver natural gas to the industrial zone in East Port Said.

Under the deal, the main natural gas networks will be built by Sinai Gas at a total length of 35 kilometres (km), according to a statement by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on Tuesday.

The natural gas will flow from the Egyptian Natural Gas Company’s (Gasco) pipeline of the national natural gas network.

The main feeding line for the natural gas pressure reducing station will be executed at a capacity of 80,000 cubic metres of gas per hour.
