Riyadh – Mubasher: Samba Financial Group has obtained a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) under which its branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) will operate as an authorised company that offers selected financial services to clients and counterparties in the market.

The establishment of a DIFC branch comes within the framework of Samba’s growth plans, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

Samba has been operating in the UAE since 2008 through its branch operations licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE). The new DIFC branch is predicted to bolster Samba’s position and services in the UAE while serving as a base for the region’s customers.
