Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI), the main index of the Saudi stock market, closed Tuesday’s trading in the green territory for the eighth consecutive session.

TASI jumped by 1.20% or 90.27 points today and reached the level of 7,626.23 points.

Moreover, the trading volume increased to 386.54 million shares, up from 297.46 million a day earlier. Likewise, the liquidity surged to SAR 7.68 billion from SAR 5.93 billion while the number of concluded transactions soared to 323,990 from 275,574.

The banks rose by 1.76% while materials and energy gained 1.11% and 0.66%, respectively.

The Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company led the gainers with 9.92%, whereas Arabian Cement Company topped the decliners with 4.09%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development posted the largest trading volume after exchanging 51.21 million shares, while Al Rajhi Bank recorded the highest turnover of SAR 426.85 million.

In the meantime, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) inched up by 0.2% or 18.93 points to 8,196.13 points.

Al Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Company and Sumou Real Estate Company headed the risers with 1.10% and 0.32%, respectively, whereas Development Works Food (DWF) Company led the fallers with 0.17%.
