TASI up on Wednesday for ninth day in row
The liquidity fell to SAR 6.79 billion on Wednesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) extended its gains on Wednesday for the ninth day in a row after rising by 0.25% or 19.32 points to close at 7,645.55 points.

The liquidity dropped to SAR 6.79 billion today, compared with SAR 7.68 billion a day earlier, the trading volume shrank to 312.722 million shares from 386.54 million yesterday, while the number of transactions reached 308,525 from 323,990 on Tuesday.

The energy and pharma sectors were down by 0.39% and 2.47%, respectively, whereas banks and telecommunication services gained 0.79% and 0.05%, respectively.

The National Company for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) topped the risers with 9.94%, whereas Mouwasat Medical Services Company (Mouwasat) led the fallers with 3.22%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development posted the highest trading volume after exchanging 38.699 million shares, while Al Rajhi Bank logged the highest turnover of SAR 403.7 million.

In the meantime, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) fell by 2.93% to 7,956.36 points.

Sumou Real Estate Company came on top of the gainers with 0.21%, whereas the National Building and Marketing Company declined by 8.7%.
