DFM gains AED 4.05bn on Thursday
The real estate sector led the gainers

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 1.89% or 40.09 points to end Thursday's trading session at 2,155.40 points, maintaining its positive performance on Wednesday, 12 August.

A total of 124.86 million shares were traded through 2,976 transactions valued at AED 203.06 million.

The market cap value rose by around AED 4.05 billion to AED 303.14 billion, compared to AED 299.09 billion during the previous session.

The real estate sector led the gainers with 2.03%, while the consumer staples segment remained unchanged.

Al Salam Bank - Sudan headed the rising stocks with 7.03%, while Amlak Finance came on top of the losing stocks with 2.71%.

Emaar Properties, up 2.96%, posted the highest trading volume of 17.2 million shares, while Emirates NBD registered the highest turnover of AED 64.39 million.

Damac Properties topped the losing blue chips with 2.24%.
