Cairo – Mubasher: Export Development Bank of Egypt (EBE) reported a slight decrease in its annual net profits, logging EGP 1.103 billion in fiscal year 2019/2020, compared to EGP 1.116 billion a year earlier.

The bank’s interest income on loans and similar income grew to EGP 5.55 billion in the 12-month period ended on 30 June from EGP 5.52 billion a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

As for standalone business, EBE achieved net profits of EGP 1.013 billion in FY19/20, down from EGP 1.05 billion in FY18/19.

During the first nine months of FY19/20, the lender posted EGP 978.29 million in net profits, up from EGP 879.9 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
