Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi general reserve levelled up 1% or SAR 2.4 billion on a monthly basis in July 2020, according to the recent monthly bulletin released by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).

The kingdom’s general reserve stood at SAR 422.49 billion in July, compared with SAR 420.1 billion in the previous month.

The government’s current account came in at SAR 58.05 billion in July, a drop of 17.2% or SAR 12.05 billion when compared to SAR 70.1 billion in June.

On an annual basis, the general reserve plunged 15% or SAR 75.1 billion last month while the current account fell by 10%.
