Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet approved a presidential draft decree on the EUR 225 million agreement with the African Development Bank (AfDB) to finance the country’s electricity and green growth support programme.  

The purpose of the programme is promoting a sustainable, competitive, and diversified electricity sector to ensure a secure power supply, mitigate climate change, and support green growth, according to a statement on Wednesday.
